For my PLN I used Twitter, Facebook, and Email. I also learned about Plurk and Google Wave. I signed up for Plurk, but for GoogleWave you have to be invited. My subject was what to respect my first year of teaching. Nick_Drapeau on Twitter told me to be prepared to prep my first year of teaching. Kendall Goodwin on facebook say that you have to get control of your class the first weeks of school. He also says that if they take you as a joke, it's hard to gain their respect. Danielle Hodge on facebook said she had a wonderful first year. She said it was hard but her students motivated her.
I am excited and scared about my first year in the classroom by myself. I will spend more time on my personal network because I feel it will be very helpful in the future.
